AP Calculus BC

Class Description

This rigorous course is designed for students who have taken AP Calculus AB and received a B or higher. It is the equivalent of a Calculus II course at the collegiate level. The course includes all concepts from AP Calculus AB and expands further into series, parametric, and polar functions. Students must take the AP Exam administered in May and meet scoring criteria in order to earn college credit. Colleges and universities have their own policies on awarding credit.
