My name is Maria Salazar and I teach Algebra 1 and Geometry in the Freshman Academy. This is my seventh year teaching and my 3rd year at SHS. Prior to teaching at Scottsbluff High School, I taught 5th grade math in Texas. I am originally from Scottsbluff and graduated from SHS. After graduating high school, I spent four years active duty in the Marine Corps and then years after, I found myself going to college. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Psychology from Park University, a Master's Degree in Teaching from West Texas A&M, and a Master's Degree in Education Administration from University of Nebraska Kearney.
