Course Description: Intro to Marketing will cover subjects that encompass the marketing pathway students can choose in the BMM Academy once they enter high school. Topics taught include economics, marketing functions, the marketing mix, and sports marketing. Students will enjoy learning each different topic with completion of a variety of assignments culminating with final tests for each unit of study. The Small Business Simulation will also be implemented. It is a realistic business simulation that recreates the day-to-day experiences involved in starting and running a small business such as pricing products, ordering inventory, conducting sales and marketing initiatives, reviewing financial statements, hiring and firing employees, managing schedules, and much more.
