I have been teaching in Scottsbluff Public Schools for 12 years. I started my career at Longfellow as a 5th-grade teacher. I taught 3rd grade for one year, then taught 5th grade for 2 more years before finally moving to the Middle School. This year will be my 7th year teaching 6th Math. Prior to coming to Scottsbluff, I lived in Fort Collins, Colorado; where I was born and raised. I attended college at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees.

I have been married to my husband for 7 years and we have a beautiful daughter and an awesome son. 

We live out in the country and have horses, dogs, and cats. Some of my best memories are spending time riding horses playing with my kids and sitting around the fire pit at night looking up at the stars and listening to the owls call to each other.
