Multicultural Literature

Class Description

This one-semester course revolves around texts by diverse authors with a variety of cultural backgrounds and themes.

Students will be exposed to different perspectives and backgrounds through text, and they will respond to text through

varied writing styles and speaking. Students will read The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and The House on Mango Street

by Sandra Cisneros.
