I graduated from Creighton University with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2001.  That summer I came to Scottsbluff and worked as both a pediatric and geriatric physical therapist which I continued for 21 years. Looking for a change from healthcare, I began substitute teaching in the fall of 2022 and am now working toward a Transitional Teaching Certificate through UNK. I love all things science and look forward to working with you to learn about how our world works! 

I have 3 kids -- an 8th Grader, a Sophomore, and a Senior!  I have been married to my husband, Tim, for 32 years!  We have 1 dog and 2 cats (and my 2 class goldfish!).  One of the most exciting things I have done is visit Europe with the Nebraska Ambassadors of Music this summer with my 2 daughters!  We had a blast!
