About DECA
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
DECA is Career and Technical Student Organization providing students with a wealth of co-curricular opportunities. Opportunities include ability to build leadership skills and compete regionally and internationally on marketing, management, and entrepreneurship content learned inside and outside of the classroom, access to scholarships and networking contacts. Along with these benefits, students may have opportunities to travel and gain other intangible benefits.
Students who join DECA:
are 5 times more likely to own their own business
are 7 times more likely to study business in college
have reported (91% of respondents) that DECA influenced future plans
experience an increase in GPA compared to non-members
and an additional increase from minimally active to very active members
