Welcome to Mr. Amundsen's STEM exploratory class for grades 6,7, and 8!

Jon Amundsen has been a Science/STEM Teacher at Bluffs Middle School for 19 years!  Mr. A's enthusiasm for Science is obvious as he loves to engage students to love ALL THINGS SCIENCE! 

He coaches 7th grade Boys Basketball, and 7-8 Girls Basketball.  For his coaching, Coach Amundsen was awarded the Western Conference Middle School Coach of the Year in 2017.

Mr. Amundsen was named a Nebraska Space Ambassador in 2012.  In this role, he's able to attend NASA workshops across the country to receive hands-on experience that will directly impact his students in the classroom.  Mr. A trains other teachers in the area of "engaging STEM activities. He also offer Space Camps around the community in the summer.
