Welcome to Mr. Amundsen's STEM exploratory class for grades 6,7, and 8!
Jon Amundsen has been a Science/STEM Teacher at Bluffs Middle School for 20 years! Mr. A's enthusiasm for Science is obvious as he loves to engage students to love ALL THINGS SCIENCE!
He coaches 8th grade Boys Basketball, and 7th grade Girls Basketball. For his coaching, Coach Amundsen was awarded the Western Conference Middle School Coach of the Year in 2017.
Mr. Amundsen was named a Nebraska Space Ambassador in 2012. In this role, he's able to attend NASA workshops across the country to receive hands-on experience that will directly impact his students in the classroom. He also offer Space Camps and trainings around the community in the summer.
