Holly Gillette - 6th Grade Bearcat ELA
About Me
Welcome Bearcat parents and students!
My name is Holly Gillette, and I will be your ELA teacher this year! I'm from Phoenix, Arizona and have lived in Scottsbluff since 2021. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I obtained my Master's Degree in Reading with an Emphasis in Elementary Education in 2017 from Grand Canyon University. Reading has always been a huge passion of mine, and I love spreading that joy to my students! This is my 10th year of teaching and my 3rd year at BMS!
In my spare time, I love to travel! I have had the privilege of going to South Korea, Mexico, Brazil and several places in the United States. Nothing beats going back to Arizona to see my family, however!
I am so looking forward to an amazing school year and helping the Bearcat students learn and grow!
