8th Grade Band
Practice Assignment for the Summer:
Students should continue to play over the summer break in order to maintain their playing skills. Students could practice any of the following:
Review anything in their Essential Elements Book 2.
Practice their scales (Bb, Eb, Ab, F, C, Chromatic)
If students are planning to audition for 8th Grade All-State Band, they should practice their audition music.
Stars and Stripes Forever
Please look out for a letter about Summer Band (July 20 - July 31). I would encourage as many students as possible to attend Summer Band.
Students should also purchase the Essential Techniques Book (Book 3) before summer band or before school starts in the Fall.
6th Grade Band
