This will be my 27th year of teaching in the Scottsbluff school district, and my seventh year teaching at SHS.  I graduated from the University of Nebraska Kearney with my Bachelor's degree in education and then received my Masters in middle-level mathematics from the University of Nebraska Lincoln as part of the Math in The Middle partnership program.  In addition to teaching math, I am also an assistant coach for the girl's soccer team at Scottsbluff High School.  I have been coaching the soccer team as an assistant or head coach for 26 years.  I currently have a National Diploma in coaching through United Soccer Coaches.

In my free time I like to do Crossfit, which is a workout program designed for high-intensity, functional movement, that is constantly varied. 

I have three daughters who keep me busy as well.  They are a Senior in college, Sophomore in college, and Junior here at SHS.  My wife Kelli is also a teacher for the Scottsbluff school system.
