Hello, Everyone!

I am a 6th-grade Social Studies teacher on the Bearcat Team. This is my sixteenth year of teaching, and I truly believe I have the best job in the world!

I was born and raised in Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 2006—Go Bearcats! In 2010, I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary and Middle Level Education from Chadron State College, with emphasis areas in Social Sciences and Family and Consumer Sciences. In 2015, I completed my master's degree in Educational Administration.

My husband, Kole, and I have been married for thirteen years. We are furbaby parents to a golden retriever and a bunny! One of our favorite hobbies is traveling. I have been fortunate to explore destinations across the United States and around the world, including Europe, South America, Australia, Africa, and Asia.

Travel has enriched both my life and my teaching. I love bringing the places I've visited, the cultures I've experienced, and the resources I've gathered into my classroom to help make history and geography come alive for my students. After all, who says learning has to be limited to four walls?
