Scottsbluff Public Schools - Every Child, Every Day
Hello Families! Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. My name is Brenda Schlagel and I am excited for another school year.! This is my 13th year at BMS and my 16th year of teaching. I have been part of education in different job positions, from paraprofessional to subbing and teaching since August 2002.
I am very excited about this school year. I have completed two Master's Degrees, one in Technology and Education and a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I love to learn and keep up with all of the new and updated trends in education. I am excited to support students in their academics and with what they need to learn, but also teach them to recognize how they learn as individuals.
Outside of continuing my education, I love spending time with my three children and grandbabies. We all love the outdoors.
I look forward to meeting all the new and incoming 7th-graders, as well as seeing students from previous years. Welcome to another great year at BMS.
Have a great year! :)
