Class Description

• High School Success Objective:
  The objective of freshman advisement is to assist students in immersing themselves more fully in the necessary preparations for social, emotional, academic, and career success.  HS Success is a class designed to assist students in developing important life skills that aid in academic and career/college achievement.  Students will learn skills of effective communication, study strategies, developing self-awareness and self-management, and building positive relationships and resolving conflicts.  Students will also continue to explore personal and career interests, college programs of study, career readiness skills, and resume writing.
