Hi, I'm Ms. Jackson!

This is my first year at Bluffs Middle School and my first year teaching. I grew up in Kimball, NE and went to high school in Mitchell, NE.  I graduated from Chadron State College with my Bachelor's Degree in Education in December of 2022. I was a substitute teacher for both Scottsbluff and Gering from January 2023 to May 2023. I have subbed at nearly every school in the Scottsbluff/Gering area. I have worked with students in every grade level from PK-12. In addition to teaching ELA, I am an assistant coach for the speech team at Scottsbluff High School. I am a first-generation college student and the first person in my family to graduate from college. 

I love music and know how to play multiple instruments and read sheet music. I learned how to play my very first instrument, the acoustic guitar, when I was in 3rd grade. I was also a summer camp counselor for middle school girls at Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, Michigan in 2022.
