Hello BMS parents and students!

My name is Ashley Jackson and I grew up in Kimball, Nebraska. I moved to Mitchell, Nebraska towards the end of my 8th grade year and graduated from Mitchell High School in 2018. I attended Chadron State College and graduated with my Bachelor's in PK-12 Music Education in 2022.

This will be my third year teaching. I was a substitute teacher for Scottsbluff and Gering Public Schools right after I graduated college. I worked a long-term sub job at BMS that turned into my first year teaching 8th Grade ELA the following school year. I was also an assistant coach for the SHS Speech Team. Last year, I taught 5-12 Vocal Music in Yuma, Colorado. 

I am so excited for the opportunity to come back to BMS to teach vocal music. I feel incredibly lucky to be back in Scottsbluff making music with our amazing students and supportive community.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to concerts, golfing, and spending time with my family and friends.
