Hello BMS parents and students!

My name is Ashley Jackson and I grew up in Kimball, Nebraska. I moved to Mitchell, Nebraska in 2014 and graduated from Mitchell High School in 2018. I attended Chadron State College and graduated with my Bachelor's in PK-12 Music Education in 2022.

I am entering my fourth year teaching. I began working in education as a substitute teacher for Scottsbluff and Gering Public Schools in the spring of 2023. I worked a long-term sub job at BMS and stayed in that position for the 2023-2024 school year as an 8th grade ELA teacher. I then taught 5th-12th grade music in Yuma, Colorado for the 2024-2025 school year. I then had the opportunity to come back to BMS to teach music starting in the 2025-2026 school year and am entering my second year in this role.

At BMS I teach choir, guitar, music appreciation, and intro to music classes. I also direct the BMS show choir. I am excited for another great year of teaching music at BMS!
