The red blocks are current blockers, green are neutral, and the grey blocks are the power. You can build all sorts of little robots with these cubes! Leveled Reading Kits
These kits are based on the Fountas and Pinnell leveled reading system, and can be used young readers to improve reading skills. There are fun activities and 5 books in each kit!
C-D Colors & Shapes
G-I Garden Stories
H-J Happy Stories
I-J Animal Stories
I-K Family Stories
We recommend reading some books outside of your level regularly. Books below a child's reading level build confidence and enjoyment. Books above a child's reading level that are on a topic of great interest can increase reading motivation. Determining what level a child is at should be done by an educator and be used primarily as an educational tool and not to determine what children should read recreationally.
These kits are meant to be used by young children with their caregivers to stimulate learning through play. They are funded by the California State Library.
