I grew up in a Catholic environment just as these students are, so I know what it means to be a teenager and still prosper in your faith. Being Catholic and a part of the Church is something I take pride in.

I also enjoy going rock climbing with my friends, and spending time with my family. My family is a very big part of my life, and they have helped me become the person I am today. The bottom picture is of me and my siblings duing the Christmas season.

I went to La Mariposa, Las Colinas, and Cam High for my early education. After graduating high school I attended, CSU Channel Islands. Reciving a Batchelor's Degree in Mathematics with emphasis in Education and Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics.

...I understand the kinds of pressure teenagers are under. This is the reason why I became a teacher. In college I learned about child adolescence and how a teenager's brain is fragile and still developing. This gave me the motivation to be a guiding, positive influence during this important time of development. Inevitably inspiring me to become a teacher.

I grew up in a Catholic environment, which has benefited me throughout my life. When figuring out where I wanted to teach, I decided to go where I came from and teach at a Catholic High School. It gives me a connection to the students that I wouldn't have teaching anywhere else.
