The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a non-profit organization that is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. Through its global membership, IEEE is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics among others.
The IEEE Student Enterprise Award provides financial help to student members who are looking to implement an idea for a project. It enables IEEE Student members to work with others on an engineering project while simultaneously strengthening Student Branch programs. Topics may be of a technical or non-technical nature from research on cutting edge technology and humanitarian and community service programs.
Nota Financiar: A Fundação Universidade Federal do ABC (Projeto: Development of an Airplane Model Fixed Wing: Platform Multifunction e a Universidade Federal da Bahia (Projeto: Controlled by Accelerometer Wheelchai) foram agraciadas com o IEEE Student Branch Enterprise Award, edições 2009/2010.

Nota Financiar: No Brasil existem cinco seções da "rede de estudantes" membros da IEEE, a saber: Bahia, Centro-Norte Brasil, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro e Sul do Brasil.
Funding for the project up to US$1,500.00.
A project proposal must be submitted via My Review Room.
