SBCSICA remote summer school 2020 program will focus on individualized, differentiated and instructional practices to support the enrichment of each student. The summer school instructional plan will run from July 6th through July 30. Monday through Thursday hours of 8:30 am. until 12:30 pm.

Live meetings will help support students throughout the summer with smaller group instruction and student centered support. Teachers will be available to meet with students individually for guided reading, guided writing, and reteach opportunities. Students will follow their teacher’s assigned schedule for meets.

Attendance Requirement:

- The summer school full session runs for four weeks. Students must have a 90% attendance to fulfill the summer school requirement.
- Student’s submission of classwork will also count to fulfill the attendance requirement.
- Students that complete assignments with a passing grade will receive promotion into the following grade.

- Promotion requirements are met with 100% of the students completed assignments.
- Participation in assigned meeting appointments with the teacher.
- Reading assessment for grades 1st and 2nd will also account for promotion

- Students must attend assigned meetings for individualized instruction
- Students must adhere to the virtual citizenship guidelines established by the classroom teacher
- Students must call the school main office in case they are sick and will not attend.
- Attendance is mandatory and taken daily via google classroom
- Students that participate in the summer school program must still complete the summer reading assignment given by their teacher.
