General Guidelines Berchnova’24

1. 29th edition of Berchnova is in a hybrid mode.

2. The preliminary rounds will be conducted in online mode on September 27 and September 28 and the final rounds are on 9th of  October 2024.

3. Kindly ensure that the participant is a bonafied student of an educational institution.

4. Participants should ensure their registration before 26th September 2024 through the website https://sites.google.com/sbcollege.ac.in/berchnova

5. All participants should submit their college ID cards and permission letter whenever insisted by the organizing committee.

6. General guidelines will be applicable to all events.

7. Business Quiz, Corporate Walk, Synchronization Dance, Treasure Hunt will be conducted in offline mode only. 

8. For the online rounds of the hybrid events, the participant must ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity.

9. Guidelines for each round of the respective events will be provided by the event co-ordinators on the spot.

10. It is the responsibility of the participants to address the queries before each round.

11. All attendees are expected to strictly adhere to the timings and guidelines.

12. Engaging in any form of unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.

13. The decisions made by the judges/event heads are final and binding.

14. In unforeseen circumstances, the Berchnova committee has the sole authority to make any final decision.

15. Complaints if any has to be reported to the grievance cell immediately.

Event Guidelines

• The event is open to all UG/ PG students and it will take place through online mode only.

• There is no restriction on the number of participants from the same institution , however each candidate is allowed to submit only one photo for the competition.

• Students who wish to participate must register prior to the event. Registration details will be shared soon.

• The photo must be in JPEG format and should not contain any watermarks, logos, or signatures.

• All entries must be original and not previously published or submitted to other competitions.

• Any kind of editing on the photo or misconduct will lead to disqualification.

• Participants are required to email (using the same email id provided during the registration) to the email address which will be shared with all the registered participants, also the participants has to post the same on their own Instagram handle using #berchnova.

• In the email the file name of the photo should be < name of the candidate_College name>.It should also include the screenshot of the file information or the details of the photo captured on your device, attached along with the photo.

• Submission deadline : Entries will be accepted from 26/09/2024 to 06/10/2024. Late entries will not be considered.

• Decisions made by judges and event heads are final and binding.
