General Guidelines Berchnova’24
29th edition of Berchnova is in a hybrid mode.
The preliminary rounds will be conducted in online mode on September 27 and September 28 and the final rounds are on 9th of October 2024.
Kindly ensure that the participant is a bonafied student of an educational institution.
Participants should ensure their registration before 26th September 2024 through the website https://sites.google.com/sbcollege.ac.in/berchnova
All participants should submit their college ID cards and permission letter whenever insisted by the organizing committee.
General guidelines will be applicable to all events.
Business Quiz, Corporate Walk, Synchronization Dance, Treasure Hunt will be conducted in offline mode only.
For the online rounds of the hybrid events, the participant must ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity.
Guidelines for each round of the respective events will be provided by the event co-ordinators on the spot.
It is the responsibility of the participants to address the queries before each round.
All attendees are expected to strictly adhere to the timings and guidelines.
Engaging in any form of unfair practices will result in immediate disqualification.
The decisions made by the judges/event heads are final and binding.
In unforeseen circumstances, the Berchnova committee has the sole authority to make any final decision.
Complaints if any has to be reported to the grievance cell immediately.
Event Guidelines
Registration will solely be conducted online.
A maximum of two teams can participate from each institution.
Each team must consist of four participants.
Participants must be MBA or PGDM students.
The competition will take place online and offline.
The preliminary round will be conducted online.
The semi-final round will be conducted in person(offline) at the institute.
Participants are required to bring the following items:
Laptop
Net setter or any device with internet capabilities
Pen drives or other storage devices
Calculator
The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited unless instructed by coordinators.
Writing materials and stationery will be provided by the event team.
Participants must ensure their presence on time for each round; failure for which would result in disqualification.
Each round will be time-bound.
Decisions made by judges and event heads are final and binding.
Participating in any form of unfair practice will result in immediate disqualification.
Participants should carry their institutional ID cards within the campus and should be in formal attire.
