Here are the 5 steps of the research process for elementary students:

• Choose a topic. 

• Search for information. Use online Databases (MakinVia, and Britannica Encyclopedia),Digital or physical magazines, and digital and physical books. Use Search engines (Google, safari, or Internet Explorer) to find academic (.org, .edu) websites on your topic.

• Organize information. Create an outline of ideas (Topic, who, what, where, why (need), and how.

• Share information. Combine and share your information in an essay ( Introduction, 3-paragraph body (explaining your topic and why you chose it and giving information about your topic, and conclusion.) 

• Cite your sources ( use citation generator to give credit to your sources of information about your topic.)
