The South Barwon Community Centre’s response to the COVID-19 virus
In line with the ‘Social Distancing’ guidelines set out by the Australian Government Health Department, the Committee of Management and staff of the South Barwon Community Centre (SBCC) have made the difficult decision to reduce activities and services at SBCC.
While we recognise that social interaction and support are very important at times like this, social distancing aims to slow the spread of the virus. Therefore:
· All groups, activities, programs and classes have been cancelled until further notice.
· Our recycling station (for bread tags, milk bottle tops, bras etc.) has been temporarily closed. Please do not bring these items to the centre as we will not be able to deal with them at this time.
· Book donations have been suspended for the time being. Please don’t bring book donations to the centre.
· The entire Centre will be closed from the 23rd of March with further information and updates on Monday April 13th.
