After Spirit Week and Homecoming came to a close, Mr. Hoffer and Student Government Advisor Katherine Van Dorn met with the class presidents. Each president had handwritten a letter to the charity their class adopted and enclosed a money order for $84.00 (total donations of $338, divided among the four classes) along with a photo of High School café windows displaying their charity, promoting awareness in our high school. This is all part of the first annual SPPP- Sayville Pride Pasta Party. "I'm so excited," Mrs. Van Dorn remarked, "about this new tradition as the culminating piece of Spirit Week and Homecoming."
