Since 1958, Sacramento Area Water Works Association (SAWWA) has provided leadership and guidance for the Sacramento-area water and wastewater industry.

Our primary mission is to advance and implement improvements in knowledge, design, construction, operation, and management of water utilities. We also consider and solve problems in the production and distribution of safe, adequate water supplies and promote the dissemination of water utility information in order to improve the understanding of the complexities of the industry.

It important to the association that our members grow in knowledge and their careers, so we offer to members, their organizations, and to other appropriate persons or organizations the individual or collective water utility expertise that is available from members of the Association.
