Students can apply for admission to universities by utilizing various application types. The most commonly used application types are Common Application, Apply Texas or university-specific applications. Please check with the universities to which you are applying to determine which application type they utilize.

Texas Automatic Admission Information
You may qualify for automatic admission to many public colleges in the state of Texas through the Top 10% Rule (UT top 6%).
**Students will be notified if they are in the top 10% the summer before their Senior year**
