Dr. A. Deepak

Associate Professor (Associate Dean - International Affairs)

Dr. A. Deepak, currently an associate professor in Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS.  He has carried out post-doctoral research on graphene-based transistors for biomedical applications at the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. He holds a Ph.D. in the domain of nano-electronics and nanosensors. He has over 12 years of academic and industrial experience. He has published over 35 research articles in leading international journals. He was instrumental in signing memoranda of understanding (MOU) with over 40 international universities. He has been actively involved in organizing several National and International Conferences/ Workshops/ Seminars/ Guest lectures/Expert talks. He is currently guiding 5 Ph.D. scholars. He collaborates with foreign and Indian scientists and scholars.

Dr. V. Saravanan is serving as Professor in Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS, Chennai, Tamilnadu. He has completed Ph.D. in the field of Nano Technology from Sathayabama University, Chennai. He is having around 20 years of experience in academic and research. He has more than 46 articles in Journals/Conferences to his credit. He is a life member in IE and ISTE. His research interest areas are Nano Technology, VLSI, Cloud Computing and DEVOPS.

Dr. J. Relin Francis Raj

Associate Professor

Dr. J. Relin Francis Raj obtained BE degree in 2002 in Electronics and Communication Engineering, ME with the specialization of Communication Systems in 2007. He completed his PhD in the field of Medical Imaging on April 2021. He has a rich teaching experience of around 15 Years  in various prestigious Engineering Colleges. He guided 12 ME projects. He is interested in Image Processing, Analog Electronics, Nano Electronics, IoT and Networks. He published 6 articles in Scopus/SCI-indexed journals/conferences to his credit. Dr. Renganathan Balusamy

Assistant Professor (S.G)

Dr. B. Renganathan is serving as an Assistant Professor(S.G) in Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS, Chennai, Tamilnadu. He has completed Ph.D. in the field of Fiber optics sensors from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy. He has more than 13 years of academics and research experience included 6 years in IIT Madras and 7 years in NIT Trichy. His research interests include Fiber optics sensors and Nanotechnology. He has more than 45 scientific research articles in Scopus/SCI-indexed journals/conferences to his credit.  His research articles got more than 1000 citations and his i10-index and h-index are 21 and 17 respectively.

Dr. David Jenkins currently working as an Associate Professor of Nanomaterials and Devices in the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics at the University of Plymouth. He has completed his Ph.D. in Applied Physics. His research fields are microsensors, functional materials and optical data storage. He has more than 100 publications in reputed scientific journals.  

Dr. Weiping Wu

George Daniels Lecturer

School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, City University, London, United Kingdom.

Dr. Weiping Wu holds the George Daniels Lectureship in Instrumentation and Sensor Systems at City University London. In 2010 he joined the University of Cambridge as a Research Associate, where he worked on graphene and 2D layered materials for optoelectronics and printed electronics. His research interests include functional materials, optoelectronics, optical fibers and sensors. He received Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010.

Dr. Mohammad T. Khasawneh, Ph.D.

Professor; Department Chair; Graduate Director; Professor; Associate Director

Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering, Binghamton University 

Dr. Mohammed Khasawneh’s research is focused on healthcare systems engineering, operations management, and data science. He currently serves as associate director for the Watson Institute for Systems Excellence (WISE), an institute for advanced studies that generate $2.5 million to $3 million in research funds annually. In addition, he currently serves as the founding director of the Healthcare Systems Engineering Center, an organized research center (ORC) at Binghamton University. Over the years, Khasawneh presented his research at various national and international conferences, including China, India, Mexico, Jordan, Korea, Thailand, Japan, Turkey, Indonesia and Canada. Khasawneh’s research activities thus far have led to 60-plus refereed journal articles, 120-plus conference articles, one patent, and three new invention disclosures. In addition, his sponsored research efforts thus far have resulted in over $10 million in external funding and over $39 million in software/equipment grants.
