Department of Signal and Image Processing with Computational Intelligence is a minor research group established in November 2021 functioning under the Institute of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Saveetha School of Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai.

This research group focus on the development of research concepts, prototypes and products related to healthcare applications by processing the biosignals and images. The products developed are designed with intelligence by implementing Machine learning / Deep learning algorithms combined with Data Analystics, to make it smarter and Intelligent to function autonomously through optimal decisions based on the situation.

This research group inculcates the research based learning methodology to the undergraduate, post graduate and research scholars registering under the specialization of Signal and Image processing with computational Intelligence.
