About the Department

The Department of RF and Communication Systems is one of the established department in the Institute of Electronics & Communication engineering, Saveetha School of Engineering. The department provides a platform for students and research scholars to conduct research in the following areas: Antenn Design, Microwave Devices, Under Water Acoustic sensor network, MIMO Wireless Communication, Image Processing.

The Department faculty have received funding grants from AICTE (ATAL) and also did consultancy projects on Antenna design. Microwave lab and Antenna lab of the department has well equipped hardware’s and Licenced (Altair FEKO) software. The department possesses a highly qualified group of young, competent and highly motivated faculty and staff members. Department organized various Webinars, Seminars and Faculty development program’s. Department has signed MoU with various companies (Huawei Telecommunications- ICT Academy, ABE Semiconductor Design, Croydon Services Pvt Ltd, Qmax Systems India Pvt Ltd, Numergion Technologies Pvt Ltd etc). Students are placed in top International MNC’s with high Salary packages.
