Published more than 80 research and review manuscripts in SCI & Q1 ranked journals in the past 3   years alone. The cumulative impact factors of these publications are above 500,        H-index 20, and i10  index 46. Also published 10 chapters, and 2 books, also served as editor in reputed journals. 

Two granted patents and 1 copyright. International research collaboration has been made by myself  with Yuequnm Biotech from China and approved a project “Quality enriched feed and  pharmaceutical product development from blue-green algae” with a total worth of      Rs. 28.75 Lakhs. 

Research collaborations with eminent professors from reputed institutions, situated in different regions of Asia and Europe countries.

Published 10 research articles with cumulative impact factor of about 60.484 in the last eight months. 

Organized 6 international webinars and one National level one day symposium at SIMATS School of Engineering last six months.

Organizing secretory for the conference conducted by our department. Dr. Manikandan Muthu also delivered invited lectures in AMET University and panellist in Madras Management Center, Chennai,  for the topic “Potential of Genome editing: Food Security, Health and surviving climate change”
