Student Welfare Activities

Various activities related to the students of affiliated colleges of Saurashtra University are often organized and managed by Student Welfare Department. Student Welfare department manages the said activities in addition to the routine administrative work.

A number of students are guided for the several courses run by the respective departments of Saurashtra University by the inquiry office which is an essential wing of Student Welfare Department. Inquires related to regular and external exams, eligibility certificates, migration certificates, degree certificates, duplicate mark sheets, reassessment etc. are answered satisfactorily. Students are also assisted in checking their results. The said department also functions as the bridge for the students, parents and visitors by guiding them with the required information.

The said department plays a vital role in guiding in reference to the circulars received for different competitions and cultural activities sent by other universities, educational institutes, trusts, state government and central government. The heads of the respective departments of the university are also kept well informed about the same.

After the Death of Regular Student of Affiliated Colleges of This University. This Section of Giving insurance sum of Rs.1,00,000/-(One Lack) to His/her Parents/Guardian or Family.

In the Year of 2017-18 ___12___ Students Passed away and this Section has given insurance Sum Rs. 1,00,000/- to their family under this Suraksha Nidhi Scheme.
