MujerX Empowerment Conference

Born and raised in Santa Ana, I have always known that my life and career would be centered in my community. With over 20 years in education, I have proudly served SAUSD as an elementary and middle school teacher as well as a teacher on special assignments. I’ve had the pleasure and honor of being the Outreach Consultant at Valley High School for over a decade. In my capacity as Outreach, I have involved myself in a multitude of capacities and helped create opportunities for students such as the Young Women Shine mentor program and the Valor freshman intervention program at Valley High School. My favorite work tasks include being a COST coordinator and conducting home visits. 

Outside of work, I pride myself on being a dedicated mother, daughter, and friend. For self-care, I enjoy practicing yoga, weight training, and cooking with my son, reading and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
