TIPS FOR REMOTE / VIRTUAL LEARNING
Being at home makes it easy to stay in your pajamas and roll out of bed and complete assignments, but getting up and eating breakfast can help set your mindset for the day ahead.
Make sure you are going to bed at an hour that allows you to still wake up in the morning and into your virtual classes to complete assignments. If you are not a morning person, set up your breakfast or morning snack the night before. Include break times during the day as well as dedicated time to complete homework
Knowing what you have to work on each day can help you prioritize to get things done. Make sure you are writing down due dates so you can keep them organized. Did you know that Google Classroom has a to-do list with all your upcoming assignments listed? Watch the video below to learn how to use it!
Make sure when you working on your assignments that you eliminate distractions. Try to find a quiet location. If it is hard to find somewhere quiet, use headphones to help you focus. Make sure you aren't in a room with a television on, although it is in the background it can distract you from your work.
Although we want to try and set our schedule, we have to understand that new challenges might come up. If your internet fails or you are having difficulties with technology, take a deep breathe and keep trying.
