Dear Incoming 9th grade Students,
Join us this Saturday, April 26th at the Godinez Gym from 11am - 2pm for our Incoming 9th Grade Orientation. Students will have the opportunity to pick their electives, register for summer school, and learn about our different programs (Athletics, Visual and Performing Arts, Career Technical Education, and elective programs).

If you are applying for jobs, you can visit your counselor to discuss getting a work permit application. Please note: you will first need to apply for a job, interview, and get accepted for your job; then you can complete a work permit application.

In honor of We Care Month, SAUSD will host their annual We Care Wellness & Education Fair on Friday, February 21st from 1:30-6:00pm at Saddleback High School. There will be resources for mental health and wellness, fun activities, raffles and giveaways, student performances, food, and much more.
Transportation routes will be available.

SAUSD is hosting their annual College and Career Fair, on Thursday, September 12th from 4-7pm at the Santa Ana Zoo. There will be representatives from college and career opportunities, community resources, raffles/giveaways, and live entertainment. Everyone receives free zoo entrance and parking!

Join us on Thursday, August 29th for our Back to School Night. Starting at 5:30pm, school organizations will have refreshments for sale and performances in the quad. From 6:00-7:35pm, we have our classroom visitations (see flyer for schedule).
The Grizzly Boutique will also be open before Back to School Night (from 4:30-5:30pm) in the Godinez Quad - discover pre-loved treasures and fill your wardrobe with style, all for free! Open exclusively for our students and their families!

During this time, you will complete the following:
Receive your ID card (be sure to dress appropriately)
Meet with your counselor to confirm your academic schedule.
Pick up-textbooks/Chromebook
Purchase ASB card ($25), P.E. clothes ($25) and make a $20 Athletic Donation
SENIORS can make a down payment of $100 toward the Early Bird Senior Package
First day of instruction will be Monday, August 12th. Classes will begin at 8:30 am and end at 3:17 pm. We suggest you arrive early, giving you ample time to navigate morning traffic, get breakfast (served between 7:15-8:15 am), and find your classroom location.
If you will not be attending Godinez, please notify us immediately at (714) 433-6600 so we can contact students from our waiting list. For any changes in address or phone number, please contact the office to update your information.

If you are missing a class in your schedule, please visit your counselor during that period that has a missing class.
You may not change your teacher, class period, or lunch.
Counselors are available before school, during lunch, and after school.
