What are the advantages of CTE, Why is important to have CTE pathways offered at Segerstrom.
CTE pathways are made up of multiyear sequence of courses that can provide students with the knowledge and skills to be succesful in postsecondary education and careers. By offering CTE pathways at Segerstrom we are providing our students with opportunities to complete pathways in Aerospace Engineering, and Cyber Security. These programs include courses honors and AP courses allowing students to earn college credit and show that they are college ready.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. Today's graduates must be prepared for the ever-increasing demands of college and the future workplace. This year we will continue to update and expand courses in our Career Pathways at both the intermediate and high schools. I am also very excited about our new Career Technical Education (CTE) units of study we will be piloting at 8 of our elementary schools using the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering curriculum. Our goal in Career Technical Education (CTE) is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to move on to whatever career path they choose.
