Grading policy:  Students will receive a quarterly progress report and end of quarter report card. Grades will be comprised of the following:

• Quizzes/Tests/Projects - 60%

• Classwork - 25%

• Homework - 10%

• Participation - 5%  

In addition, students will have benchmark assessments in math, reading and writing three times a year using the following:

• I-Ready Math Diagnostic  

• I-Ready Literacy tasks

• Writing Revolution Benchmark Assessments

Classroom rules/expectations:  We will be developing our classroom rules together at the start of the year.  In general students are expected to follow all school rules, contribute to a productive and successful learning environment, have a positive attitude and be ready to learn.  Cooperation and participation in classroom activities is important.

12:15  - 2:00   - ELA (Fundations, Reading, Writing)

2:00 - 2:45      - Science/Social Studies

2:45 - 3:00       - Dismissal
