Course Overview
We will examine how the U.S. government is structured as well as looking at U.S. History from after the Civil War (1865) until the present day. A regents exam is given at the end of the year in June.

You have 5 school days to make up all missed work (including tests & quizzes)
It is your responsibility to pick up missed work after an absence.
Any work that was due when you were out is due when you return to class.

Cell phones are not needed for class, unless otherwise directed.
Be responsible for your own learning.
Respect the teacher, classroom and other students.

Complete your homework on time.
Late homework is accepted, but I will deduct 10% per day that the assignment is late.
Extra help is offered 1-2 days per week. It will be posted on the board.
Detention passes will be signed only if you have assignments to work on, are staying for test review or to make up tests or quizzes.
