Rachael Fellows
Grade 1
My name is Rachael Fellows. I have been teaching first grade at Pine Tree for several years now. I love the Mountain Washington Valley and being outdoors when I am not working.
My career started at the University of Maine at Farmington where I received my degree in Elementary Education. After graduating I worked in the Fryeburg School District and most recently worked at Conway Elementary School the past two years.
I grew up knowing that I someday wanted to be a teacher because of all the wonderful teachers I had that made my education so special. I hope that I can make each student's experience in school as memorable as mine.
Kate Jenkins
Grade 1
I am so excited to be teaching first grade. I started teaching at Pine Tree in the Fall of 2016. Before moving to Pine Tree I taught in Hampstead NH for 15 years.
My family and I decided to move to Center Conway to be where we play. I have a son and two dogs. We love to hike and explore the trails all around us. We are currently tackling the 4,000 footers! Our favorite hike is Mount Pierce. We also love to snowboard.
I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I have vivid memories of playing school as a child with my teddy bears and brother as students. Teaching is everything that I hoped it would be. I love watching the light bulbs go off in a child's mind. Their wonder and excitement are contagious.
