Hi my name is Holly Preece, and I am the art teacher here at Pine Tree. 

I am so glad to be part of the Panda community, working with students and parents to create an exciting learning experience for everyone.

I attended Plymouth State University in NH, and received my bachelor’s degree in Art Education with a concentration in ceramics. While there I had great opportunities to practice many different art skills while using the White Mountains as inspiration.

I enjoy teaching students the skills they need to be a successful person each and every art class. Students practice many life skills that they will use in the real world. Creativity, confidence, problem solving skills, perseverance, receiving constructive feedback, collaboration, dedication, accountability, and much more. I strive to align my curriculum with each grade levels’ units as well as incorporating the National Visual Arts Standards and the New Hampshire State Art Standards. I like to expose the students to a variety of different materials and introduce them to the artwork of artists from all around the world and throughout history.

My goal is to allow students to explore a variety of art materials, discover different genres and styles, and most importantly, have FUN being creative!
