Since the 2024 volleyball season has come to an end, I decided to interview Waad Baradei and Kyla Ngu to reflect on the past season. Waad and Kyla are both defensive specialists and were on the junior varsity team this year. One of many things they agree on, is the great community that surrounds them in volleyball. When asked how JV has improved compared to her freshman team last year, Waad said, “I think there's improvement either personality, skill, and everything overall.” Kyla also added, “...we had our difficulties but this year, it felt very easy going and we've definitely grown closer as a team and in general.” This year was a winning season for the JV girls, with a record of 6 - 4. And most notably 2 wins with scores 3 - 0.

After a two game winning streak to start off the season, Concord High Varsity Football loses their first game on Friday, September 20th. In this second home game of the season, CHS loses 7-35 against Londonderry High School. The single touchdown was scored by Trevor Craigue with the extra point kicked by Colby Nyhan. The student section was dressed in neon to support their fellow students and show school spirit. Jack Gfroerer, the 11th grade Varsity running back and line backer, stated after the game, “the defense did well, held the ground. Little things on offense that hurt us, but we will fix those up this week for next week.”
