The Concord Family YMCA, partnering with the Concord School District, is working hard to meet our community’s needs. The Y, which typically offers before- and after-school programs for children, will now offer programming during school hours. With several convenient downtown locations, the YMCA is prepared to offer remote learning opportunities for your children. Keeping small group sizes to meet health concerns while offering more individualized remote learning support, the Concord Family YMCA will host remote learning programs from 8:30am to 1:30pm, with enrichment and club activities until 4:30pm. Our fully-licensed quality programing offers financial assistance. The program will be staffed by the Concord Family YMCA. Fees will be directly billed by the Y.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central NH and the Concord School District are working together to try to create additional child care and remote learning opportunities for the community. The Boys and Girls Club is looking into renting space in the Steeplegate Mall in order to provide programming space for out of school programs. This would allow them enough room to provide your child with safe space to conduct their virtual learning from 8am to 1pm and then have some recreation time afterwards.
The Boys & Girls Club estimates the cost for such a program will average $135.00 per week per student, which they will directly bill to families. The program will be staffed by the Boys & Girls Club.
The Boys & Girls Club needs to move quickly and hire staff, but before they do, they need to gauge the level of interest.
