It was Columbus and his crew, pilots and captains. They had all their supplies like food and Dishes and weapons. They were at the southernmost tip of Cuba. Which he named Juana in honor of Ferdinand and Isabella daughter. He named the cape Alpha and Omega. They did this on December 5. They did this because he wanted to make it around the World to Asia.

List of stuff he found on his journey:

• Potatoes:
• Sweet potatoes
• Corn: he brought it back because they said that it was supposed to get rid of poisons juices.
• Natives: He brought the natives back to prove he went to Asia.

• Pepper: Was very high priced because it was rear because they got it from "Asia".
• Hammocks: He put them on his boats to conserve space and they are more comfortable.
• Parrots: They thought they were very pretty so they brought them back.
• Ground Chili: Ground Chili was made from pepper and pepper was very expensive because they brought it back from "Asia".
• Gold: To prove he had been to Asia so he brought gold back from Asia.
• Silver: To show the silver from Asia
