This is the GIF for Albedo. It shows January 2010, January 2011, January 2012 and so until January 2017. Albedo is the amount of sunlight that reflects off of the earth. In the bottom of the GIF it is all white. That is because it's snowy there and snow reflects sunlight whilst forests don't. White means a lot of sunlight and dark means none is reflecting.
