Outgoing Longwave Radiation is energy from the sun that is going towards the Earth. This animation is the Outgoing Longwave Radiation that is leaving from the atmosphere from our earth. Also every picture from the GIF is from every August since 2006-2019. Also the thing below is the legend. The legend shows each color from the animation. If the color is yellow then thats the most amount of energy that is leaving the atmosphere. If the color is red or purple that is some energy leaving the atmosphere. Finally if the color is light blue or blue that is the least amount of energy leaving our atmosphere.
