Aerosol Optical Thickness Animation!!!!!!
Below is an animation over the course of the 12 months of 2019. It is showing Aerosol Optical Thickness. The key below the animation, describes what the different colors scattered around on the map in the animation stand for. The lighter the color, the less aerosol there is floating around in that part of the world. Aerosols are small particles that are in our atmosphere. An example of an aerosol follows. Dust, smoke due to fires, ash, etc. They are a big part of science. They are important to be aware of because they can have an impact on the health of people, weather, and our overall climate. Aerosols cool down the earth as well as heat up our earth. The size of the particle determines if it heats or cools our earth. When aerosol gets breathed in, it can really effect people's health in a negative way.
