Where is Hopkinton?

The relative location of Hopkinton, NH is 10.5 miles north of Bow, 13 miles south of Warner, 10 miles east of Henniker, and 10 miles west of Concord.Hopkinton is 74 miles north of Boston, Ma and 109 miles south of Portland, Maine. Hopkinton is 60 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean (Rye Beach, NH) and 75 miles south of the white mountains.

The absolute location of Beech Hill Farm is 43 degrees 12’06 N (latitude) and 71 degrees 38’03 W (longitude). It is also right down the street from my house.

Special and different Physical Geography

Our town has many special things about it, some special things about it are our rivers, several cool hills, interesting climate, interesting trees, interesting wild animals, and lakes. We have interesting animals such as bears, deer, and cool birds. Some cool trees are, ash, red oak, hemlock, and many more. In our town our interesting climate is how we have different weather for each season, Summer is really hot, fall is in the forties to sixties, winter is very cold, and spring is warm.

Special and different Cultural Geography

Our town also has some man made stuff, some examples are, our school, old churches and houses, the sports we play, farms, our library, the covered bridges, parks, the stone walls, the dams, man made lakes, two villages, and restaurants. Some towns around our two villages are Concord, Warner, Webster, and more. Restaurants in our town are Demetris pizza, the covered bridge, and more.
