Here are a few towns that surround Hopkinton, starting with north of us is Warner, Webster, and Boscawen. Towns that are east of us are Concord, Pembroke, and Loudon. Towns that are south of us are Bow, Dunbarton, and Weare. Towns that are west of us are Henniker, Hillsboro, and Windsor. The absolute location of the Hopkinton town library is 43 degrees 13’23 north 71 degrees 43’12 west. In my opinion, to describe Hopkinton It is in the middle of New Hampshire, it is very expensive to live in, not very many people and businesses, not very many large bodies of water, and very few ponds.
Here are some things about physical geography in Hopkinton. In Hopkinton there is a contoocook river that flows through Hopkinton. Also there are some cool hills in Hopkinton like Gould Hill Farm, last there are some pretty interesting animals in Hopkinton. Bears, deer, moose and coyotes. Another thing is that there are some cool rocks that if you dig underground there are loose rocks that you can randomly find.
Examples of cultural geography are: the hopkinton middle high school, the old churches, old houses, the sports people play, the farms located in town like (Beech hill farm, Gould hill farm, Bohanan farm), the Hopkinton town library, the park behind the town library, the stone walls, ( there is a stone wall in front of my house) the dams, man-made lakes, restaurants, and small businesses.
