Air rises the equator. At 30 degrees south the air is cooling and sinking. The air is skimming along the surface back towards 0 degrees otherwise known as the equator. As the air cools down and sinks some air escapes heating up as it travels toward 60 degrees, then is cools and rises continuing the cycle.
The latitude and Longitude of Perth,Australia is about 30 degrees South and 151 degrees east. Although this is quite a pretty picture, the dried leaves on the trees, and dry bushes near the city show that the climate is here is dry, with little rain. Also you can take the dry, little leaved trees, near and/or in the city, as an example of how dry it really is. A perfect example of what 30 degrees south would look like.

Looking to the picture on the left we see the forecast for the next 10 days let's dive into that. Shall we? The weather in Perth has little to no chance of rain. It is very dry with almost always pure sun. It's temperature is in the upper 80's all the way up to the upper 90's given the pure sun. Showing us that the south 30 degrees is generally a hot and dry place with little rain.
