Meet Us

My name is Pamela Baxter and I am a Reading Specialist here at Chamberlain Street School. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education and Psychology from Assumption College in Worcester Massachusetts and my Master's of Education in Reading from the University of New Hampshire. I have since continued my education and become Orton Gillingham trained.

I taught 3rd grade at School Street School before becoming a Reading Specialist and have been teaching in Rochester for over 25 years. I am passionate about reading and helping all children succeed.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping, scrap booking, learning about essential oils, relaxing at the lake, traveling, and spending time with my two girls and our dog Remy.

My name is Vickie Carr and I am a Reading Teacher here at Chamberlain Street School. I attended Plymouth State College for my Bachelor's Degree and am currently working towards my Master's Degree at New England College.

I have taught grades K, 1 and 2 for over 20 years before becoming a Reading Teacher. I have been teaching in Rochester for 15 years.

I enjoy gardening, warm weather, and spending time with my family and friends.
