Mr. Ferdinand

Hello!

I have been teaching in Deerfield since 2015 where I did a full year internship in the 5th grade. I earned my B.A. in English-Teaching in 2015 and my M.Ed. in Elementary education in 2016, both from the University of New Hampshire. Go Wildcats!

I spend my free time reading, camping, playing guitar and playing disc golf. Card games are also a big hobby of mine; my favorite is Cribbage. You can often find me after school running the Minecraft club at DCS. I'm ecstatic when imagination and cooperation come together in my classroom.

I enjoy teaching all subjects, but I especially love math and science. I am very interested in technology and constantly search for new and exciting ways to bring technology into the classroom. I challenge my students to think outside the box in both independent and cooperative settings. As a teacher, I value passion, perseverance, and a positive attitude. My goal is to create the positive power of community by fulfilling students' need to belong, to feel significant, and to have fun.
